Anne Benson
Anne joined The King's Fund from the Royal College of Nursing in July 2009. Anne is an educator, manager and clinician with 30 years' experience of working in and with health and social care services. She began her career as a general nurse, moved into mental health nursing, and for the last 20 years has been working in work-based education and development, primarily in the fields of leadership, team and organisational development.
Nicholas Bradbury
Nicholas works with clinicians and senior managers, helping leaders to develop their creativity and wisdom. Ordained in 1973, he has wide experience of consultancy work with organisations, groups and individuals in the statutory and voluntary sectors.
Paul England
Paul England joined The King’s Fund in July 2008 having worked as a freelance trainer and consultant for the past 10 years. He has been involved in both designing and delivering leadership development programmes using a variety of delivery methods from formal training settings to action learning and coaching.
Nicola Hartley
Nicola is the Co-Programme Director for The King’s Fund's New Medical Directors Programme. She joined the Fund in November 2009 as a Senior Consultant and has 28 years public sector experience. She has spent the majority of her career in the NHS and, in the last four years, worked for the National Policing Improvement Agency as a Development Adviser, supporting individuals identified as having the potential to reach the most senior positions in the police service.
Chris Lake
Chris joined The King’s Fund in 2009 with a history of leadership and organisation development (OD) preceded by a line management career in retail. He was Executive MBA Director and Assistant Director for OD and leadership at Roffey Park, and remains visiting faculty on the institute’s MSc in People and Organisation Development.
Donna Lee
Donna joined The King’s Fund substantively in May 2009 having worked as an Associate since July 2008. Her relevant work experience is at senior level in a London acute trust and as a consultant with primary care trusts and other private healthcare and voluntary sector organisations
Vijaya Nath
Vijaya Nath has significant senior experience in the design and development of innovative leadership programmes and of senior organisational development consultancy. A visiting lecturer at Milan’s SDA Bocconi School of Management, Vijaya has experience of working in both the private and public sectors and is an experienced facilitator of highly interactive, whole systems change events.
Liz Saunders
Liz Saunders joined The King’s Fund in September 2008 following seven years in management roles in the NHS. She has experience in working across a variety of services and specialities within the NHS from acute sector operational management to commissioning and working within an SHA.
Katy Steward
Katy is a Senior Consultant in Leadership at The King's Fund. She joined the Fund in 2006 and has over 20 years experience of working in the public and private sector. Before joining the Fund she worked at Monitor on governance and leadership as Head of Governance Policy.
Judy Taylor
Judy directs The King's Fund's leadership programmes for consultants and clinical directors. She also directs a programme for Irish specialist registrars, co-directs a mixed clinicians programme and provides 1:1 executive coaching and team development. In the past, she has designed and run a European clinical leadership programme and a wide range of programmes for senior managers and senior women leaders.
Liz Thiebe
Liz Thiebe joined The King's Fund in March 2008 after leading the Productive Series at the NHS Institute for Innovation and Improvement. This work included leading the national programme to improve patient experience/patient safety and the efficiencies of wards, theatres and community hospitals. A frequent lecturer, she also acts as a planning consultant for surgery, anaesthesia, endoscopy, and capital planning programmes in the US and the UK.
Belinda Weir
Belinda joined The King’s Fund in June 2010. She has over twenty five years’ experience as a leader, coach, consultant and trainer in health care settings, across public, private and non-profit organisations in the UK. During her career Belinda has designed and implemented leadership development and individual, team and organisational performance improvement programmes for a wide range of healthcare organisations.
