The King’s Fund is pleased to announce its membership of the PCT Board Development Framework, working alongside Ernst & Young, Bath Consultancy Group Ltd and UnitedHealth UK.
We recognise primary care trusts are under pressure to deliver highly effective and responsive services as well as lead the transformation of the local health system. These challenges require PCTs to focus on securing high performance across the board and within the organisation as well as performing at the highest possible level in the 11 world class commissioning competencies.
PCT boards will be at very different stages of maturity and effectiveness in this regard, and will be facing local challenges that mean they require tailored solutions and development interventions. Our consortium is able to work with you to design, develop and deliver a challenging and unique package of support for you and your board.
Together our consortium brings:
- deep understanding of what makes world class boards
- experience of helping boards see their organisations as one system and fixing internal disconnects
- skills across the full range of functions and disciplines that underpin value added commissioning
- an integrated team with the expertise to maximise the performance of local leaders of the NHS and thereby their ability to serve their patients and public.
We will design a suite of interventions which suit your needs — what we bring is a comprehensive and engaging approach to diagnostic, developments and sustainability in approach, leaving you with greater competence, confidence and a sustainable solution to improving board performance.
We’re running free seminars for PCT board members across the country. We’ll be looking at the emerging themes from the world class commissioning assessments, and what we can learn from leading global practice about the new leadership required from high performing boards. Places are limited so don’t delay.
