In brief
About the programme
The King’s Fund is pleased to be hosting the London session of the Global Health Leadership Forum in September 2012.
The Global Health Leadership Forum (GHLF) is a programme for health care leaders that focuses on globally sourced innovations in health policy, technology and management. Participants grapple in a practical manner with the health policy issues and options that have been converging internationally. They learn policies and management/leadership approaches that work, find out which approaches have been tried and have not been successful, and learn about promising innovations. The programme also teaches strategies for effective policy implementation and management.
This programme features interaction with renowned programme directors and advisers, guest speakers from organisations such as the World Bank, the World Health Organization, and private industry leaders.
In 2012 two sessions will be held. The first at the University of California, Berkeley, United States, in April and the second at The King’s Fund in London in September. Although GHLF is intended to be a two-part programme with an earned certificate from UC Berkeley, it is possible to attend only one session.
