Ghislaine became Deputy Head of Education at the National Gallery after a teaching career. She also writes, lectures and broadcasts on art education.
She recently started a project called Take Art, a partnership between the National Gallery and children in hospital. Take Art has now also been extended to involve medical students and doctors and there are further plans for a similar scheme working with prisoners.
She was Head of Learning at the Courtauld Institute until 2007.
