The business of the board
Capita Company Secretarial Services
- NEDs
Boards are expected to have non-executives with experience and knowledge of governance processes between them. This event will take a look at information flows, managing agendas, making committees work for the board, effective delegation, executive and non-executive interface, the role of the chair, and areas such as crisis management. The work of both audit and remuneration committees will also be featured.
The session will enable non-executive directors and chairs find out more about commercial best practice, and enable those who are employing commercial practices to debate how well they work in the NHS and to share their current governance concerns.
