Healthcare for London sets out ambitious objectives for the development of Londoners health and London health care services. The objectives will increasingly be expressed and taken forward in the commissioning process led by London's PCTs. We should expect to see an enhanced focus on prevention and health improvement, new models of care, new delivery arrangements and a relentless focus on quality, standards and patient experience.

This event will provide an opportunity to discuss progress and prospects in relation to the Healthcare for London Programme. Non-executives and chairs are invited to bring other members of their executive team to join in the debate and learn about the changes at first hand. The following areas will be covered:

  • Key process and governance aspects
  • The developing role of commissioners
  • The enablers - I.T, workforce, partnerships, finance etc
  • Envisaged impact and potential implications
  • What this means for PCT and Trust Boards.
