Library catalogue

Our catalogue contains more than 80,000 bibliographic records. These include all King's Fund publications, relevant Department of Health policy documents, strategic planning documents, WHO-Euro publications, informally published literature from health and social care organisations, and articles from more than 200 journals and newsletters.

Anyone is welcome to search our library catalogue, which is freely available online. Search our library catalogue.

If you work in the NHS in England, or work in social care, the voluntary sector or are a member of staff or a student at an academic institution, you may also be able to access the King's Fund catalogue in the following ways.

NHS staff, social care and voluntary sector workers

If you have an NHS Athens username and password, you can access our library catalogue via the National Library for Health website. Accessing our catalogue in this way allows you to search other databases, such as DH-Data from the Department for Health, at the same time. For further information please contact your local NHS librarian.

Academic staff and students

Academic staff and students may be able to access the Health Management Information Consortium (HMIC) database via their university library or learning resources. HMIC includes both the King's Fund catalogue and the Department of Health catalogue. Please contact your institution's health or medical librarian for more information.

Other ways of accessing our catalogue

Anyone is welcome to visit the library, or we can search our catalogue on your behalf. To request a literature search, use our online Ask a librarian service, or contact us by telephone, fax or post.
