About

Event overview

With October now marking the deadline for finishing sustainability and transformation plans (STPs), and the beginning of implementation, this event is ideally timed to share progress to date with the plans, discuss the common challenges, and find out how areas are preparing for the next phase.

Who should attend

Those leading and working on STPs

If you’re working on the development of STPs the event will provide:

  • practical support on developing relationships within your footprint area
  • an opportunity to benchmark your plans against other areas
  • the chance to put your questions to NHS England and NHS Improvement leaders on recent NHS planning guidance.

Stakeholders and partners involved in developing and implementing STPs

For STPs stakeholders including social care, public health and other local government services, as well as third sector organisations and the local community, the event will provide:

  • an understanding of how STPs are being developed and the common challenges that are emerging
  • an opportunity to explore issues including: how the public are being consulted in the plans; what governance and accountability models are emerging; and how the NHS is consulting with local partners.
