About this event

The DALLAS programme – Delivering Assisted Living Lifestyles at Scale – will establish up to five sites across the UK and will show how assisted living technologies and services can be used to promote well-being and provide top quality health and care, enabling people to live independently. The programme will also show how cost savings could be made alongside the provision of improved health benefits for both public and private provision, while opening new markets in social innovation, service innovation and wellness.

This summit provided further information on the DALLAS programme and comprised a series of presentations from expert speakers on current innovative approaches to supporting independent living of frail older people and people with long-term conditions, including examples from the Whole Systems Demonstrator Pilots. The event explored these approaches with the aim of understanding what needs to be done to further engage health and social care clinicians and managers and improve the uptake of new technologies through clinical commissioning and other mechanisms.
