Date:
13 May 2009

In brief

On 13 May 2009 HRH the Prince of Wales, the President of The King’s Fund, officially unveiled a range of new resources and services at our central London building in front of selected staff from The King's Fund and an invited stakeholder audience.

His Royal Highness met with architects and staff from the building project, as well as project leads and beneficiaries from some of The King's Fund's development work with front line staff and leadership programmes. He officially launched our new website and visited the new Friends' Lounge and Information Centre, before unveiling a plaque in the refurbished café to commemorate the occasion.

The new facilities, which include a 225-seat theatre, provide a major new resource for the health care community – a hub for health care thinking and learning.
