About this event

The four habits of high-value health care

The concept of value – the ratio of cost to outcome – has increasingly become part of the conversation about health care system reform. Although some organisations in the United States have made substantial progress in improving efficiency while preserving or enhancing quality, the pace of innovation across the health care sector has been slow, raising the question of just how organisations can learn from top performers.

This seminar will explore what top-performing American organisations specifically do to improve clinical performance, and will consider which, if any, of their approaches are transferable to other organisations. In particular we will discuss what aspects of these ideas are applicable in a UK context, and what might be some of the hidden pitfalls of interventions to increase performance.

Certificates of attendance will be made available to all delegates.
