About this event

We held a breakfast event to launch the new Commission on the Future of Health and Social Care in England. The Commission will re-examine whether the post-war settlement, which established largely separate systems for health and social care, is still fit for purpose.

At the event, Alan Milburn and Stephen Dorrell gave their personal observations on the current and future health care system, and chair Kate Barker shared her hopes and ambitions for the Commission.
