The Point of Care Programme aims to help health care staff in hospitals deliver the quality of care they would want for themselves and their own families.

About The Point of Care

We are working with patients and their families, staff and hospital boards to research, test and share new approaches to improving patients' experience.

Our work

Hospital Pathways – working with five trusts to use new techniques to improve both processes of care and staff-patient interactions.
Schwartz Center Rounds® – encouraging staff from all disciplines to talk about difficult emotional and social issues arising from patient care.
Experience-Based Co-Design – getting patients and staff to work together to improve the experience – or ‘feel’ – of using services.
