Stephen Dorrell: challenges to the NHS reforms

Rt Hon Stephen Dorrell MP, Chair of the Health Select Committee, spoke to us about the changes he would like to see made to the proposed health reforms at our 2011 event on GP commissioning. Alongside engaging clinical staff he proposed that the Nicholson challenge was a key factor – whereby the NHS has to find efficiency savings of four per cent for the next four years.
