Chris Ham: preparing for the commissioning challenges ahead

Chris Ham, Chief Executive of The King's Fund, raised concern for the speed at which reforms were being implemented, when we spoke to him at our 2011 commissioning event. He predicted that the 'listening exercise' would produce a phased approach, with GPs taking on more responsibility only when ready, and stressed the need for some form of central governance.
