Lara joined The King’s Fund in July 2009 to work on the Point of Care programme whilst completing her masters. She now works in the Policy Directorate as a Researcher. Her current interests include continuity and co-ordination of care, intermediate care and clinicians use of cost and quality information.
Prior to this role, she worked in the Faculty of Medicine at Imperial College London during the establishment of the UK’s first Academic Health Science Centre (AHSC). She also managed scientific projects at the Food Standards Agency.
Lara holds a BSc in Biomedical Science from King’s College London and MSc in Public Health (Health Services Research) from the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine.
