Strone Macpherson

Strone Macpherson is the Chairman of J P Morgan Smaller Companies Investment Trust (which he also founded), Close Brothers Group and British Empire Securities and General Trust. He is the originator and co-sponsor of INSEAD Mandela Scholarship Fund (Scholarships for Africans).

His interests include maintenance and restoration of listed buildings, restoring and driving important early motor cars, Scottish pictures, travel and active country pursuits, particularly in North-West Sutherland, Scotland.
