Rachael Addicott

Senior Research Fellow

Rachael Addicott is a Senior Research Fellow in the Policy Directorate, having joined The King’s Fund in 2007. Rachael has an interest in organisational change and models of governance and accountability in the health sector, and works on a number of projects in these areas, including work on Foundation Trusts, employee ownership and networks. She also leads on end of life care research for The King’s Fund.

Rachael was previously a lecturer in health service management at Royal Holloway University of London. Rachael has a PhD in health service research from Imperial College London, focused on modes of accountability in networked organisations. Rachael is originally from Australia, where she worked in various research positions for the Department of Health and in the acute sector.
