Lorraine King is a Consultant in the Leadership team at The King’s Fund where she is leading on the Global Emerging Leaders project, delivering experiential learning to the National Management Training Scheme, and facilitating a variety of leadership development programmes.
Prior to taking up her Consultant post, Lorraine was the Business Manager in Leadership for two and a half years, leading on business generation, internal systems redesign and process improvement.
Before joining The Kings Fund, Lorraine worked as a Project Manager in Organisation Development at the Beeches Management Centre, Belfast for two years. This role included design and delivery of a suite of leadership and management development programmes for Health and Social Care in Northern Ireland, organisation development service reviews and team development as well as management of the Northern Ireland Health and Social Care Management Training Scheme.
Lorraine has a PGDip in Healthcare Management from the University of Birmingham and De Montfort University, a BSc in Management from Queens University, Belfast, a Certificate in American Business Practice with Commendation from Boston University, MA, USA and is currently half way through a MSc in Human Resource Management and part qualified by the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development. Lorraine is also a fully qualified PRINCE2 Practitioner.
