Catherine joined the policy directorate at The King's Fund in March 2009, and is currently managing a programme of work on quality, looking at issues such as quality reporting, quality measurement, and incentives and leadership for quality.
Catherine's background is in cancer policy. Prior to joining The King's Fund, she was Head of Policy at Cancer Research UK, where she worked on cancer services reform, public health, health inequalities and medical science policy, and helped to lead a number of voluntary sector coalitions including the Cancer Campaigning Group. She has also worked in the Department of Health, in both the analysis and cancer policy teams, and has a Masters in Public Policy.
