David Wootton

David Wootton is a lawyer, a partner in Allen & Overy LLP, the international law firm, based in London, specialising in mergers and acquisitions, corporate transactions and corporate governance.
He is the former Lord Mayor of the City of London, having been an Alderman of the City of London representing the Ward of Langbourn since 2005, and a past Deputy Chairman of the Finance Committee. He is a Past Master of the Worshipful Company of the Fletchers and a member of a number of other Livery Companies. David sits on the Oversight Committee of the Royal College of Surgeons.
